Nudge − Safe Boy

Safe Boy is a health nudge for a dating app based on machine learning and AI.

It reminds the user to use protection for safe sex (according to swipes, likes, matches, conversations, time spent in app etc.).

With the introduction of dating apps casual sex has never been easier. Desicions taken on the taxi from party to home at late hours tend to be usually hasty. Whit the same ease of swipes, condoms are left unused as well. It is not question of awareness but it has more to do with the attitude of “letting it all go” and “it will never happen to me”. It is not possible to change health behavior with a snap, but small nudges at the right time will start to change the course.
